Asha works amongst women who are survivors of trafficking.

Currently, we work to provide health services to those at Swadhar Home – a government rehabilitation centre where they are placed in protective custody, until their cases are heard in the court and/or they are sent back to their original homes.

We believe good health can play a key role in hastening the rehabilitation process, as health is closely related to social well-being and holistic health can bring in a sense of purpose and help in building an identity for these victims of exploitation.

This year, we served 129 women from August 2016 to March 2017.
